NuTone IM4406 Main Circuit Board

The 3rd layer is the main circuit board which contains the mini-controller for the system.  An important point to consider is that we have seen some cases where the mini-controller has been damaged due to problems with other areas of the IM4406 Master Station.

It seems that if simple problems are ignored for long period of time, it can lead to a damage controller, which is not repairable or replaceable.  In these case a complete board replacement would be necessary, however these boards are no longer available from NuTone and used boards are rare and expensive.
