Thanks Chris for doing such an excellent job repairing my thirty year old NuTone IM3003 Master Station. When I removed it from the shipping box it was so bright and shiny it looked like a new station. After installing it I used your clear instructions for setting it up.. It sounds great and it sure is nice to hear those chimes again. Also, I enjoyed the LifeSavers.

Chris restored our 30 year-old IM-4006 intercom in just a few days, and even included all the old capacitors and power regulators that he removed from the boards in the old beast.
The unit now sounds great and re-installation was a breeze, with Chris' expert videos and detailed write-ups.

Chris and Cindy know their business, their product and take great care of their customers. When your Nutone products begin to show their "old age", you can trust them to get them
like "new" again.

Just want to leave a thumbs up on the 3300 intercom system I just had repaired after being burnt with a power surge. Chris called me and explained everything which doesn't happen in today's world. I received the unit all packaged up (just like he said he would) plugged it all in-- and guess what-- IT ALL WORKED just like new. Thank you Chris for your knowledge and fixing my unit--- you saved the unit from going to the landfill :(

After watching a few of Chris's youtube videos on Nutone Intercom trouble shooting and repairs, I concluded that the problem with my unit was the chime module. Looking to find a replacement was not as easy as I thought, so I decided to call the phone number in the videos description. Low and behold Chris answered the phone and began troubleshooting my system. He came to the same conclusion that I had, it was a bad chime board. Apparently the system is sensitive to lightning strikes. Who would have thought that the system would have lasted so long in Florida, the lightning capital of the U.S. So I sent it in and a few weeks later it was returned. I installed it and my 30 year old system is back up and running. If only all home repairs were this easy! Thanks for all the help Chris and it was a pleasure to speak with you on the phone.

Christopher Peters did a great job restoring our 25 year old Nutone IM4006 intercom. His video made it relatively easy to pull it out and his shipping instructions
were a big help. The intercom is as good as new. IT EVEN KEEPS TIME PROPERLY NOW - it never did before. I live on the East Coast and was only without the unit
for two and a half weeks. My wife appreciated the roll of Life Savers that was enclosed in the box when it returned.

Our NuTone IM 3003 Master Station has been dead for years and nothing worked except the clock. I had been putting off having it fixed for years and there was no sources to have it repaired locally in Virginia. One day I searched on the internet for companies who worked on older intercoms and quickly located Northside Service Company. I made an online inquiry and quickly received a call from Christopher who troubleshooted my unit with me and gave me an estimate of repairs. Most of all Christopher gave me the confidence that my IM3003 could be and was worthy of being repaired. I followed his instructions and shipped the unit almost coast to coast. In the meantime the communication was timely and excellent. The unit was repaired within the time-frame we discussed and at the estimate cost. In fact the unit was repaired first and then I was contacted for payment. The shipping back to Virginia was fast and the unit was clean and obviously rebuilt. A bag of old electronic replaced pieces was even enclosed.

I had onc issue with the re-installation and several questions afterwards and Christopher was always available to quickly give me advice. Although I am thousands of miles away from this business, I felt t like I was in the same hometown. My rebuilt unit is just like new and work great. If you have been procrastinating getting your intercom repaired then go ahead and make contact with Northside. They will work with you.

Hi Chris and Cindy. We wish to thank you once again for bringing our 25 year old Nutone IM 4006 back to life. We had given the unit up for dead when a reputable local repair service could not get the unit to operate. I was faced with total replacement of the master plus ten speaker stations when I came across your You Tube videos. Via phone conversations you totally reassured me that you could restore the unit to like new working condition which you did. If anybody reading this has a Nutone product in need of repair or upgrading, I would not hesitate to recommend Chris and Cindy Peters and Northside Service Company for your Nutone repairs. It's great to hear the music playing again throughout our home.

Thankyou, also, for your promptness and professionalism in returning phone calls, and fixing our chime, and shipping it back to us. We were (and are) amazed and thankful .

To others reading this, you will be happy and satisfied in dealing with this company. We could not find a doorbell with the proper wiring to replace this one (which stopped working)..... in which we have 2 doorbells wired to the LA-52 in an annexed room, but then wired to a nice/pretty speaker in our dining room. We decided to send it to Chris to get it fixed. Yes, it costs more than a new doorbell, but it was worth it, and will last many many more years.

First of I want to apologize to you and your company for taking so long to thank you for the repair of my Model IMA-3303 series intercom system. It works fine and was returned quick.
You told me what the problem was and how you would go about the repair. My system sat for a long time before I found you. I was told by a local company that they would check it for a certain

My NuTone IM 3003 model stopped playing music at my remote speakers as well as the intercom function stopped working all together. So I have been following Northside Service for about 2 years because I knew one day I would want to get my intercom system back up and running again. I kept reading so many positive posts from people praising Chris for taking a broken system and breathing new life into them. I was never sure if I would get a new system or repair the old one. I just reciently decided to repair it because to buy a new system would be a lot more money, first to buy a new system and then repair the walls after taking out the old system! New systems were smaller and would necesitate replastering and painting the walls. So repair was definitely the cheaper alternative.

I watched all of Chris's videos which pertained to my IM3003 modle. I followed the take down video and successfully replicated the taking out of the unit. I watched the how to package the unit for mailing and replicated that too. Then I watched the video on how to properly clean the remote stations and I did everything the video said to do. Chris had communicated with me the entire time and had a repaired unit back in my hands within 2 weeks. WOW!. I now have a unit that works like the day I bought it!!!

Thank you Chris very much for being such an OLD SCHOOL repair technician!! Anyone who might be on the fence about ending your old system away to be repaired, please do not hesitate in sending it to Chris at Northside Service Center. You will not regret the decision.

We manage an apartment complex with a NuTone 478 Apartment Intercom system that was installed in the mid 1970s. Over the years parts of the system started failing and no one locally could repair the system. They would all say that we needed to install a new system. More than the cost of the new system was the logistics of running new wire in the finished walls up three floors. After searching online we found Chris and Northside Service Company. After talking to Chris, he said he could fix our equipment. We have received the first piece back that he repaired and are thrilled with his service. I now know that we will be able to get our entire system up and running and will be sending in pieces from the other buildings. Thanks Chris

My IM3003 intercom is an old unit. Since the chimes quite working, the radio reception and tuning were very poor, and could no longer set the clock, searching the web led me to Northside Service. After watching several of the videos, decided to give Northside a try.
Chris and his staff received my IM3003 master station on a Friday and Cindy called on the following Monday afternoon to let me know it was done along with arranging for repair payment. I installed the repaired
master station (received it via Fed Ex on a Saturday morning) and it was like getting a new unit. The chimes sound great, the radio (AM/FM) reception is good, the clock works again, and all the buzzing and humming is gone!!
Kudos to Chris for the great repair/rebuild process at a reasonable charge with terrific turnaround time!! Highly recommend Northside Service to those with Nutone units that may need service or repair. Wonderful customer experience!

Nice job one restoring my NuTone K44 chime block (door chime) to full function. When one of the chime blocks solenoids stopped working, I hit the internet to find help on what might be the problem and what to do about it. I found your video about repairing, cleaning and restoring these chime blocks and I thought I'd try it myself as I'm pretty handy. But I soon realized that I would need your help as I was able to see the problem with my solenoid and it needed more than just cleaning to get it going again. The rear cap had rotted and cracked off and I knew I would never be able to source this part. Fortunately, you had found a suitable replacement. You did a really nice job getting my doorbell back on all of its feet.

In my work I get to use some of the most advanced technology there is today, however, I have a spot in my heart for technology of the past and I couldn't let this piece go to its grave on my watch. It has joined some other pieces I have resurrected to full functionality, including several AT&T 501 rotary dial telephones and a old Tappan Greenbrier gas range from the early 1950's.

Chris was absolutely incredible in assisting with the resolution of the door chime problem with my IM-4006 Intercom system. His YouTube videos showing how to remove boards and the master station are very explanatory and thorough. It makes it very straightforward to remove the part and ship it to him. He didn't even charge for diagnosis. Cindy ensured that my Master Station was returned rapidly.

For people, like us, with vintage Intercom systems this service almost qualifies as a National Treasure!
