NuTone NM Series Power Supply / Amplifier Board

The NuTone NM100 Intercom Power Supply / Amplifier Board is unique to the NM100.

It is a hybrid board, which uses both through-hole and SMD surface mounted components.

I expect this board to be the source of the majority of problems with the NM100 Series.

As with all modern electronics, which are always on - time will be a factor when problems occur.  The minimal thermal heat sinking on the board will likely shorten the life of many components over time.

The typical problems that are associated with this board have been mainly humming and buzzing on the system due to failing or failed parts

This board is the same as used the the M&S Systems DMC3-4
