1973 NuTone 2561 Avocado Master Station Amplifier Transistors

Here is where the design improvements really show up.

In this 1973 model 2561 the old, original Germanium TO3 output transistors (and all of there peripheral

parts) are gone.  They have been replaced with modern TO-220 Silicon transistors (blue arrows).

This simple change deleted some of the more costly components in the 2561 and made the design more reliable.
