NuTone IM4006 cassette player heads

The yellow arrow points to the erase head, the blue arrow points to the play back / record head and the yellow arrow points to the pinch roller.

The heads can be replaced as an assembly.

One of the common problems with the cassette players is the buildup of dirt and grime from inside the wall cavity.  This gets into the mechanism and prevents the parts from moving freely.
