NuTone IM4006 cassette player with belt cover removed

With the belt cover removed, you can see the main flywheel.  Inside the red box you can see the tiny end of the broken belt.

The green arrow points to the audio bypass switch.  This switch allows the player to bypass the IM4006's radio input and play the tape through the system.

The plastic tab on the switch can wear down from use and then the tape will play, but it won't be heard through the system.
