Nutone 2500 master station dual preamp board

Since the 2500 is a stereo system, it has a dual preamp board for right and left channels.  This 2500 has been work on before and who ever did the work was not very considerate in their parts selection.

The red arrows point to Radial Capacitors that where mounted in place of Axial Capacitors.  Not only is this sloppy workmanship, but the long, exposed component leads can act as an antenna and pickup stray noise from within the unit.

Proper axial capacitors are readily available and are not more costly.
