Oh yes, Video in 1992 was still in Black & White, color cameras were still years away at least at an affordable price).

The VIS1000M monitor included both Brightness and Contrast Controls along with a Camera Selection button, which allowed the user to scroll through as many as 6 cameras.

The new IS58V Door Speaker Camera was a real slick design.  It was the first combination Video/Speaker station.  It had 6 built-in Infrared LED's which created a invisible light field around the camera, allowing for clearer night time video.  

NuTone was a leader in using the Infrared LED's at the time.  I remember working at a Home Show where a competitor was sell another brand of Video Entry system without infrared LED technology.

He can over to my booth on the second day and asking if I would stop telling people about the LED's because it was killing the interest his system.
