Video Door Answering and Video Surveillance were always very popular items at Home Shows, everyone like to see themselves on the monitor.

It would bring everyone into the booth, but no one bought much.  Home video systems were novel but just beyond what most people thought they really needed. Oh yeah, they were really expensive too.

The VIS100M was the second and last (almost) video system that NuTone designed and built, why. . . one word - Wireless.
