NuTone SM428 terminal board, tuner assembly and talk module

Since all of the modules simply plug into the main board servicing the SM428 is rather easy.  The Terminal Board (yellow arrow) can be removed from the Master Station without un-wiring all of the remote stations.

The bloue arrow points to the "Talk Module" which allows the "Hands Free Reply" feature to operate.  The basic intercom design is right out of the IMA406 System and if "Mono" remote speakers are installed in some rooms, there are the same remote speakers used in the IMA406 system.  The Talk Module is also the same part that is used in the IMA406

The red arrow points to the AM / FM Tuner Module.  This is basically the same tuner used in the IMA406 with just a few modifications.  There is a small connector added to the board which allows the "Stereo" indicator to light up when a stereo broadcast is present.
