NuTone SM428 wood case with paint and caulking

Like many Audio Products of the late 1970's the SM428 has a real Oak cabinet surrounding the Master Station.  Real wood cabinets were a very popular option with top of the line home audio manufacturers and NuTone follow this trend.

The SS40 Deluxe in-wall speakers had matching Oak cabinets.

This SM428 had a lot of caulking and wall paint all over the oak frame.  This will be removed, cleaned and lightly refinished to restore the cabinets original look.
